Hwarang Kennel is a passion project fueled purely by a love for the breed and a passion for this beautiful piece of Korean culture.
My name is Hannah (Eunsol) Yi . I first got started in AKC Dog Shows during my junior year of high school, when I had recently turned 16. I spent most of my Junior Handling career with an amazing standard Longhaired Dachshund named Jimi, thanks to my phenomenal mentor, Lynn.
During my time in Juniors, I had become interested in Jindos. Whether I really knew it or not, I have always had a desire to reconnect with my Korean heritage, and the fact that it was possible through my interest in dogs really intrigued me.
Many aspects of Jindos represent and exemplify aspects of the Korean spirit, history, and culture.
Our mission is to build our program through raising, promoting, and exhibiting stable and sound show Jindos that also make excellent companions.
